Final

4:55 - Crazy stuff. Milwaukee has five shots in the second half and three find the net! What a comeback! I'll have the recap on the site from the bus. Thanks for tuning in!

4:50 - WOW! Lewers with goal with 1:07 remaining and it stands up! What a second half! She had the ball about 25 out, dribbled around the defense and fired from just outside the box and it found the nearside netting and Milwaukee has its first win of the season!!!

4:49 - LEWERS! 4-3!!!

4:47 - And there's a yellow card on the Milwaukee bench. Caity had to come off for blood on her sock or something and coach Henschel was not very happy.

4:45 - Good pressure by both teams...Morgan's feed trying to hit Lewers went just wide. 3 to play.

4:41 - Morgan's goal was awfully similar to the one she had saved in the first half. Second time's a charm today I guess. Less than seven minutes left. The mood is tense!

4:40 - And just like that it's 3-3!!! Morgan with a great finish off a feed from Krissy.

4:37 - It was a nice goal for Milwaukee but it'll be interesting to see if they can find a third. They seem to need numbers to form an attack against a tough RedHawk D and now there's only 9:40 remaining...

4:33 - Wow. Dorre scores for UWM off a great one time flick by Lewers from Stern but Miami answers back just 21 seconds later. Dinges collected a ball just outside the box and Paige got a hand on her low shot but it snuck underneath. Now 3-2, Miami. 13 minutes left.

4:30 - As the two teams battle for possession, a fun fact...Holbert scores on National Celiac Awareness Day, who indeed battles the disease.

4:26 - The throw in turns into a free kick from just outside the box...Holbert takes it and V's header was on target but just didn't have enough pace.

4:25 - Morgan and V back on for Maria + Sky. Throw in down in the zone for Milwaukee.

4:23 - And Miami has the lead. The ball was in the final third for the RedHawks for what felt like five-straight minutes and it finally hurt Milwaukee. A corner was kicked right at Paige but it bounced off her hands and straight to Dolesh who easily put it home. 2-1 MU with 22 to play.

4:20 - Miami's definitely been swarming this half. Whether that be the goal or just whoever has the ball for UWM...very active, even off the ball.

4:16 - Miami's been possessing in their attacking area but nothing too challenging. Sky back on for Morgan. Half an hour to go.

4:10 - Maria back on for V. My apologies for not saying it earlier but the starting XI returned for the start of the second half.

4:06 - Yikes! Miami hits the post. Milwaukee finally settles down a bit but MU is coming out with a purpose. Only took 93 seconds to find the equalizer.

4:04 - And we're tied. Looked like the defense was pushing up just as a ball was played through and Miami's #4 beat the offside trap. Paige came out and the shot was probably heading in but #5 hammered it in anyway. 1-1

4:03 - Second half underway. Indeed, Men's soccer's live stats right here - http://www.uwmpanthers.com/gametracker/launch/gt_msoccer.html?event=1261658&school=wiml&sport=msoccer&camefrom=&startschool=&

4:00 - Other UWM scores...Volleyball fell to a VERY strong Kansas team, 3-0, earlier today and will take on another tough one in Bowling Green in a bit. Men's soccer is off to DePaul to avenge the women's loss from last Friday. That game should be kicking off just now.

3:57 - A few thoughts...Miami definitely held the advantage in the first half, mostly because they came out of the gates firing while it took UWM a bit to get into the game. Milwaukee settled down about 20 in though and had a few good chances and capitalized on one of them...Miami, like most schools UWM's played this year, has some pretty fast forwards. So far that hasn't been too much of a problem as the two most threatening moments were saved by Paige. Those forwards aren't afraid to run at the Panther back line and make them work...With this being the first halftime lead for Milwaukee this season, it'll be interesting to see how they handle that. They became very timid with a lead against Indiana in the home opener and it hurt them. We'll see if they can stay forward here in the second half.

3:54 - Halftime stats...

                UWM      MU
Shots           4             4
Saves          2             2
Corners       2             4
Fouls          0              4

3:45 - Fun fact - this is the first halftime lead for UWM so far this season. I'll be back with stats and my two cents after a quick break.

3:44 - Paige! A turnover in the back sprung the Miami attack free and #27 played ball from the end line to a WIDE open streaking forward but Paige read it perfectly and snagged the ball out of the air. Most likely would have been a goal for Miami but we head to the break with Milwaukee still holding a 1-0 lead.

3:41 - And Emma comes on for Stern. Miami's had a good push in the last five minutes or so.

3:38 - Whew! Panthers dodged a bullet! Nice ball in from basically the corner by MU that Paige got a fingertip to but it skirted behind her and the Miami forward blasted it well over despite the basically open goal. Lots of defenders around but it was a pretty open look. Just under 6 to play and Emma set to check in.

3:36 - The RedHawks have also made a slew of changes here since the goal. Lewers tried to get it to Sky running down the right side but it was just out of her reach.

3:32 - Great save by the Miami keeper! Lewers got the ball on the far side corner and played it to Dorre who carried it across the face of the box and played it to a WIDE open Morgan but her shot that was aimed upper-90 right in front of her was pushed away by the keeper. Mel came on for Krissy before the corner but the ball was cleared. Sky on for Morgan. Caity also went down during all this sequence but gets up slowly and plays on.

3:31 - Nothing of note since the goal. Maria now on for V. 13 minutes left before the break...and Mel's about to come on, as well. I'll let you know for who when she makes it in.

3:27 - GOAL! Holbert makes it 1-0 with 17 to play in the half. Amy sent it to the middle around 30 yards out where Holbert let the ball roll through to Lewers who one-timed it to a perfectly streaking Holbert. She was one-on-one with the keeper and put it in the nearside netting.

3:21 - Stern heads it from midfield to V who makes a very clever move to get behind her defender on the left wing but her shot went sailing high. Nice bit of play there by the Panthers. They seem to be settling in a little better though I'd say Miami still holds the possession advantage...maybe 60-40? Also a shout out to trainer Chad for pulling double duty and fixing a divot on the field.

3:17 - A shot by Kelsey but it wasn't too challenging. 20 minutes in now...

3:13 - First time Milwaukee possessed in the MU box and Morgan earned a corner. Amy sent it in but it was over everyone's heads and cleared away. Not a ton of flow to this game at the moment...a few good chances by Miami but it feels a bit like ping pong. Both teams feeling each other out.

3:10 - And Amy's back on to throw it in. So far it's been MU with the majority of the possession. Scary moment as Paige dove to stop a shot but couldn't quite get a handle on it and the ball bounced around between attackers and the defense before cleared.

3:07 - Amy trips and comes up gingerly...she tried to walk it off but she was right near the Panther bench so she took a few steps off to check with Chad. No sub yet so it must not be too serious but we are a man down at the moment.

3:04 - Quite a few corners by MU early on but Paige makes a great save with the ball bouncing around in a very dangerous spot.

3:01 - A decent chance by the RedHawks but the sloooooow roller that beat Paige was easily booted by Al. Editor's note: There is a significant blind spot in the press box on the side where we'll be attacking this half so my apologies if things are a bit more sparse.

3:00 - And we're underway! Milwaukee starts with the ball.

2:58 -

2:53 - For the fellow weather nerds out there, it's mostly cloudy here in Oxford and plenty cool (rumor has it, the same as back home). There's an on-and-off wind that seems to be blowing across the field from nearside to far.

2:50 - We're a few minutes away from the anthem. While we wait, here are your starting lineups for Game #7 for the Panthers. UWM will go with the same starters from last Sunday. Paige in net, Amy, Hannah, Alleina (Al) and Caity on the back line, Stern, Vienna (V), Morgan + Kelsey in the middle with Lewers and Krissy up top.

For MU, they'll go with Norenberg in net along with Zanotti, Zakreqski, Walter, Dinges, Bronke, Kelly, Pleshakov, Horner, Stearns, Dolesh.

Milwaukee will be wearing their gold jerseys, black shorts + black socks. Miami counters with their white jerseys, white shorts and white socks.

Meaningless stat of the day: This is the third time the refs have had to change their jerseys after showing up to the field with yellow tops the same day Milwaukee is wearing its gold unis.

2:43 - Warmups...

2:00 - Hello and welcome to Oxford, Ohio! Milwaukee is just taking the field for warmups and I'll have lineups and a photo or two coming up here shortly. As always, if you have any questions please message me on Twitter...I'm @timprahl. Thanks for tuning in!
