9:09 -
Milwaukee improves to 2-5 on the year in the wildest game since....well, since last year. Time to go work. Thanks for tuning in!

9:08 - FINALLY FINAL. HOLY COW!

9:06 - SYNDEY SENN!!!! GOAL!!!! 1:32 left. 5-4 Panthers!

9:02 - And we're tied.

9:00 - Lewers checks back in for Krahn. Just 6:09 left on the clock. Come on, ladies...

8:59 - Things getting tense here at the Valley. Marquette with the ball and pressuring but nothing too serious at the moment. We sure know how to make it interesting, don't we.

8:55 - Corrigan came on for Smalley at the goal....and I believe Dorre is already standing to check in for Corrigan.

8:54 - Another goal by Marquette and it's 4-3 Milwaukee. Player had a nice finish near post inside the box.

8:52 - Senn checks in for Lewers. 14:15 left on the clock. Nice to see Sydney back on the field

8:49 - Blanchard takes a spill and Chad comes out to take a look. He's stretching her out but Tatum Smith is set to check in for her.

8:44 - Marquette making it interesting with another goal. Tough floating ball going at Lincicum...she tipped it off the bar but Vicker was literally standing right there waiting for it. Just 16 minutes to go...

8:43 - More nice moves by Milwaukee finishes with a header by Smalley in the box but it goes high.

8:40 - Hand ball called on Milwaukee in the box. MU's Luba takes the PK and scores. 4-1 Milwaukee

8:39 - MU switches keepers

8:38 - Forgot to announce it but Krahn came on for Dorre at the goal

8:37 - LaPlant nut megged her defender and ran right at the box. Forced the other defenders to converge and layed the ball off to Behnke. She deeked a defender and buried it!

8:32 - 4-0 MILWAUKEE!!! Behnke with her first of the year!

8:28 - Dorre with a diving effort to get a cross into the box from the right but the keeper makes a equally diving effort to grab the ball and squash the attack. Timeout on the field for an injured MU player

8:27 - Free kick taken by Stephans and headed by Lewers but it went just a little wide of the frame.

8:20 - Here are your stats from the first half...

8:15 - Ran to the bench at half time but we're back underway here in the second half. Milwaukee started with it, played it to the corner but a goal kick was earned

7:55 - And we go to the half with Milwaukee up 3-0 at Marquette! Last win here was 2008, 1-0 on a goal by Sarah Hagen.

7:53 - Two minutes left in the first half but pinch me! I can't believe this is happening!

7:49 - And Krahn is in. 6 and a half left in this first half

7:47 - Header by Marquette in the box but it had nothing on it. Paige gobbles it up. Krahn set to check into the game for Dorre

7:43 - Kauffung sent the corner into the box. Stephans went for the header and got a slight touch on it but not enough, but that was more than okay for Lewers, who was waiting and put it far post. No chance for the keeper.

7:40 - Corner for Milwaukee....GOALLLLL! Lewers!!! 3-0 Panthers

7:38 - A blast by Lewers goes just to the left of the goal. Lots of possession by Milwaukee...

7:35 - A lot of action but nothing terribly threatening for either team since the goals.

7:26 - Trying to provide a little more info...LaPlant took a feed from Lewers just to the right side of the box and burst through the defense. Her shoot was partially touched by the keeper but it easily made it's way into the back of the net. On Dorre's goal...the ball was sent in long from the midfield by a still unknown player (we were all working in the box on the first goal still) and Behnke headed it from the left side of the box to the middle where Dorre was there all alone and easily finished.

7:24 - This happened much quicker than my typing but GOAAALLL!!! Dorre makes it 2-0!

7:19 - GOAAALLLL! LaPlant is on fire! Makes it 1-0 Milwaukee!

7:16 - A right-footed blast by Behnke toward the far post corner is saved by a diving keeper. Great buildup by the Panthers

7:14 - Foul Milwaukee. MU with a sub which appears to be blood-related and the free kick leads to nothing.Milwaukee with the ball on the left but Behnke's leading pass is just out of the reach of Lewers

7:12 - Corner kick for Marquette. Snuck behind the D, who was looking for an offside call, but no dice. And the corner leads to a shot by MU and Paige Lincicum's first save of the day

7:10 - Marquette's SID says she thinks they're having Gametracker issues. She's already on the phone with CBS. A pros pro.

7:09 - And we're underway! Marquette starts with the ball and is going left to right

7:05 - Anthem about to begin as it's starting to get dark here in Milwaukee

6:59 - Milwaukee looks like it'll be sporting its all-black kit for today's "road" game. MU looks like it's rolling with gold tops, white shorts and white socks with some nifty blue trim. Fancy.

6:56 - We're just a few minutes away from our 7:05 scheduled kick off. Both teams are currently huddling and look like they're ready to get underway. Just have to run through intros, the anthem and I believe there is a moment of silence planned in remembrance of 9/11

6:55 - A shot from the field during warmups...

6:45 - Starting lineups are in! Milwaukee will be sticking with its same starting 11 from the past two games. Lincicum in net - Bestwina, Van Keulen, Blanchard + Kauffung in back - Behnke, Stephans, Smalley and LaPlant in the middle - Lewers and Dorre up top.

Or for the more visual fans out there....

6:30  - We're about half an hour from kickoff and both teams are on the field! It is - to put it mildly - ridiculously cold down at the Valley tonight. 53 on Sept. 11. Not cool. But I digress. Here's my view of the field from the pressbox...

5:00 - Hello and welcome to another player blog with the Milwaukee women's soccer team! Tonight's matchup is against crosstown rival Marquette at a chilly Valley Fields. Tonight's game is also live on TV on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel for those in the viewing area. I'm told that feed is also being picked up by Marquette and live streamed at the link above. As always, feel free to fire any questions if you have them either at my twitter account (@timprahl) or at the team account (@MKE_WSoccer). Thanks and enjoy!
